About The Position
The Senior Accountant provides support to the financial operations across complex construction C.A. Hull projects. The Senior Accountant partners closely with project teams and leadership to monitor job costs, analyze financial performance, and contribute to informed business decisions. The Senior Accountant is responsible for key accounting processes, including financial reporting, and month end close, while ensuring accuracy, maintaining internal controls, and supporting compliance. The Senior Accountant also contributes to process improvements that strengthen the overall accounting function.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within construction or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of job cost accounting and percent of completion revenue recognition.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Extreme attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both finance and operations teams
