Requirements

6+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a fast-growing or high-volume environment
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Strong grasp of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
Comfort with accounting software and strong Excel skills
Sharp attention to detail, strong organization, and the judgment to prioritize when a lot is moving at once
Clear, honest communication — you share what you see early and often

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of fiscally sponsored programs — from journal entries and reconciliations to month-end close
Prepare accurate, timely financial statements and reporting for internal leadership and the programs we support
Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activity with a sharp eye for accuracy
Track restricted and unrestricted funds and help ensure grant and donor compliance
Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and year-end audit preparation
Spot process improvements and help us build cleaner, faster ways to work as we scale
