About The Position

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Little Rock to identify an experienced Senior Accountant for an interim assignment. This 2–3 month opportunity is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to dive into critical financial processes during a busy season.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
• 3–9 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing or related industries
• Strong knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel —including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Workwise Accounting Software (or similar ERP systems) preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process
• Review and audit internal documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and assist in variance analysis
• Generate and analyze inventory reports to ensure proper valuation and controls
• Support internal reporting and management requests with detailed Excel analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial integrity and reporting accuracy
