About The Position
CES has partnered with a leading wholesale distribution company in Springfield, Ohio. They are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with month end close experience. The company is flexible and family oriented. Range is 80-90k.
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial reporting and general ledger management
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience developing and enforcing internal controls
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation, accuracy, and timely production of monthly financial statements
- Monitor actual spending against budgeted allocations and provide variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and company accounting policies
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to minimize risk of errors, omissions, and fraud
- Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure daily and weekly tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget
