Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university required
  • 3-5+ years accounting experience required
  • Ability to work independently and quickly adjust to changing priorities
  • Strong Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and posting journal entries
  • Performing monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assisting in preparing month end Consolidated Financial prior to management approval.
  • Administering the corporate expense card program
  • Calculating and remitting monthly, quarterly, and yearly taxes for federal, state, and out-of-state liabilities, including quarterly estimates, for income, sales, use, Ohio CAT, and other taxes
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local tax laws.
  • Review tax inquiries by various tax authorities.
  • Supporting daily treasury functions
  • Supporting annual audits by providing requested schedules and documentation
  • Preparing ad hoc analysis and reports for management
  • Participate in various systems and process changes
  • Providing accounting-related support to team members as needed
