As an Senior Accountant at Caterpillar, you are responsible to independently perform accounting functions which require preparation, analysis, and communication of high complexity issues that support Caterpillar business processes. The following job is within the Product & Strategy Business Resources team. The position supports Building Construction Products (BCP) leadership and product groups while also working closely with our enterprise Operating & Execution (O&E) team.

Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Analyze, review, and report on Accountable Reporting Tool (ART), OPACC Analysis Tool (OAT) and Share of Market OPACC (SMO)
Presentation and explanation of results to business resources management
Support strategy, leadership, and executive office reviews
Analyze and report on division progress towards profitable growth strategy commitments
Identify and implement process and efficiency improvements
Partner with the business to provide deeper strategic insights and solve challenges with a customer-oriented mindset
