Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam required
2+ years of public accounting experience preferred
2+ years of tax experience with individual and business returns preferred
Strong understanding of tax compliance principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Desire to continue growing within public accounting

Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual, partnership, S-Corporation, C-Corporation, trust, and related tax returns
Assist clients with tax planning strategies and compliance requirements
Research tax issues and identify planning opportunities
Deliver accurate, timely, and client-ready work products
Work directly with business owners and individual clients
Build strong, long-term client relationships
Gather and analyze financial information to provide practical recommendations
Identify opportunities to add value through proactive tax and advisory services
Review and oversee work completed by staff accountants
Assist with scheduling, workflow management, and engagement deadlines
Mentor and support developing professionals
Contribute to a culture focused on learning, collaboration, and professional growth
Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
Ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule
Maintain high standards of quality and client service
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, managers, and partners
