The Finance Team includes Finance Business Partnership, Accounting, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations teams. Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our SEC Reporting team! As a member of the SEC Reporting team, you will work on the Company’s external reporting to various stakeholders, including quarterly and annual reports filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and statutory financial statements in compliance with local requirements. You will collaborate with other teams and business partners daily to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of SEC reporting requirements, with an understanding of US GAAP

  • Manage a business process from start to finish with the ability to identify and communicate roadblocks or challenges to your manager with a problem-solving mindset

  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

  • Able to work with cross functional teams, building meaningful business relationships along the way
  • Exceptional analytical and Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent years of experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • CPA License, or in progress
  • Experience in a Big 4 firm or Fortune 500 company experience with emphasis external reporting
  • Experience with Workiva
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive meaningful impact
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development and staying current with emerging AI technologies

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the Company's financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting standards, including preparing the financial statements and related disclosures and drafting MD&A for annual and quarterly filings.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual SEC supporting our external reporting by collaborating with external auditors, executives, finance, legal, and investor relations to ensure such information is complete and accurate.
  • Monitor, assess, and implement new accounting pronouncements and other reporting changes applicable to the company, with an emphasis on SEC external reporting.
  • Stay up to date on changes and activities within the Company and industry to ensure the Company’s SEC reporting properly reflect any new developments.
  • Maintain the relationship with external auditors in support of all annual audits and quarterly reviews.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to prepare relevant materials and presentations consistent with SEC filings, including analyst presentations and other materials.
  • Coordinate and manage the preparation of ad hoc reports as required, including Environmental, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) disclosures and government financial surveys for external stakeholders.
  • Partner with the international team to help prepare and review statutory financial statements in compliance with local requirements.
  • Ad hoc reporting or technical assistance on transactions as needed.
