About The Position
The Senior Accountant II performs a variety of general ledger accounting duties with a primary focus on ensuring that the financial statements accurately reflect the financial position of the Medical Center.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent software to include Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Prior experience and knowledge of Cost Accounting
- Two to three years experience in Healthcare Financial Accounting
- Ability to use SAMC intranet to communicate with management.
- Ability to communicate with management and all levels of employees.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of general ledger accounting duties.
- Ensures that the financial statements accurately reflect the financial position of the Medical Center.
- Analyzes financial information for reasonableness and validity.
- Works independently, always seeking improvement in processes.
