The Senior Accountant II will be responsible for performing assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes, including lease accounting, accrual accounting, joint venture accounting, and annual ortho revenue recognition. This role involves monthly and quarterly financial statement preparation, annual budget (practice level) preparation, and annual audit financials and footnotes. The Senior Accountant II will identify and correct financial discrepancies by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing financial data, making recommendations for corrective action or process improvements to the Director of Accounting or Controller. This position requires close collaboration with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues and support business goals, as well as assisting in ad-hoc analysis to drive business performance. Additionally, the role includes Treasury Operations & Bank Reconciliations, managing daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for all corporate bank accounts, ensuring accurate transaction recording, timely identification and resolution of discrepancies, and adherence to internal controls and deposit timeliness policies. It also involves managing relationships with financial institutions and third-party vendors. Merchant Services Oversight includes administering the company’s merchant processing services and payment gateways, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions, and partnering with external vendors to pilot new programs and implement solutions. Management of Patient Financing Vendors involves managing external vendors, including vendor selection, onboarding, contract negotiation, developing SOPs, training staff, generating reports, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing financing program effectiveness.
