We’re seeking a Senior Accountant II, someone who combines technical expertise with exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail. This role is critical to maintaining the financial integrity of our organization and ensuring that leadership has the insights needed to drive the business forward.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Expertise preparing detailed financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Experience with entity-level reporting and financial consolidation.
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • High-level Excel skills; proficiency with accounting/ERP systems.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to reconcile complex financial data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, especially in drafting clear financial narratives.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools for financial reporting.
  • Strong project management skills and experience mentoring junior-level staff.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure complete, timely recording of transactions.
  • Prepare entity-level financial statements, including detailed P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements, complete with narrative explanations.
  • Reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts with precision and accuracy.
  • Lead variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting with a strong focus on multi-entity drivers.
  • Analyze revenue, costs, and commitments to provide forward-looking financial insights.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthen internal controls and support external audits with required documentation.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to accounting procedures—especially in entity reporting, financial statement production, and rebate processing.
  • Apply best practices to increase efficiency, consistency, and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Participate in system implementations, process redesigns, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from leadership.
