Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the role partners with cross-functional teams across the business — including IT, Supply Chain, FP&A, and sales — and offers room to take on greater technical and project responsibility.

  • CPA required, or active progress toward certification.
  • 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience; multi-entity or multinational experience preferred.
  • Solid working knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Hands-on ASC 606 revenue recognition experience, including contract review and preparation of revenue schedules.
  • Demonstrated track record of independently scoping ambiguous problems and delivering completed work products.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and construction of reconciliation workbooks.
  • Enthusiasm for modernizing how accounting work gets done, including adopting automation and AI tools as the function evolves.
  • Experience supporting external audits (schedule prep, auditor requests, resolving findings).
  • Experience in open communication and collaborating cross functionally with internal teams across time zones to drive results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce process documentation suitable for use by others.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on NetSuite experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own assigned areas of accounting, taking responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of journal entries, account reconciliations, and reviews through month-end and year-end close.
  • Serve as the primary preparer for revenue accounting, including recording revenue transactions, maintaining revenue schedules and supporting workpapers, and preparing contract reviews and revenue recognition conclusions under ASC 606.
  • Provide coverage for bank reconciliations and credit card accounting during peak periods and team absences.
  • Support external audits, including preparing requested schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and assisting with resolution of findings.
  • Support internal control documentation and testing for intercompany and NetSuite-driven processes.
  • Research technical accounting matters and prepare supporting analysis and draft memoranda for review by accounting leadership.
  • Document and help standardize intercompany and multi-entity accounting procedures across US and international subsidiaries.
  • Identify inefficient or manual processes across the accounting function and propose and help implement improvements.
  • Take on defined projects assigned by accounting leadership, working with them to scope the work and carrying it through to completion.
  • Partner with Business Applications on NetSuite improvements and act as an accounting contact for cross-functional teams.
  • Serve as a NetSuite subject matter resource for the accounting team, including testing new functionality, documenting system processes, and training staff.
