About The Position

Parallel Wireless is seeking a Senior Global Accountant to join their Nashua team. This role will support various general accounting activities for both US and international entities, focusing on close processes, consolidation, revenue recognition, audits, and process improvements. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Global Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as IT, Supply Chain, FP&A, and Sales, with opportunities for increased technical and project responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA required, or active progress toward certification.
  • 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Hands-on ASC 606 revenue recognition experience, including contract review and preparation of revenue schedules.
  • Demonstrated track record of independently scoping ambiguous problems and delivering completed work products.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and construction of reconciliation workbooks.
  • Experience supporting external audits (schedule prep, auditor requests, resolving findings).
  • Experience in open communication and collaborating cross functionally with internal teams across time zones to drive results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce process documentation suitable for use by others.

  • Multi-entity or multinational experience preferred.
  • Hands-on NetSuite experience is preferred.
  • Enthusiasm for modernizing how accounting work gets done, including adopting automation and AI tools as the function evolves.

Responsibilities

  • Own assigned areas of accounting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of journal entries, account reconciliations, and reviews through month-end and year-end close.
  • Serve as the primary preparer for revenue accounting, including recording revenue transactions, maintaining revenue schedules and supporting workpapers, and preparing contract reviews and revenue recognition conclusions under ASC 606.
  • Provide coverage for bank reconciliations and credit card accounting during peak periods and team absences.
  • Support external audits by preparing requested schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and assisting with the resolution of findings.
  • Support internal control documentation and testing for intercompany and NetSuite-driven processes.
  • Research technical accounting matters and prepare supporting analysis and draft memoranda for review by accounting leadership.
  • Document and help standardize intercompany and multi-entity accounting procedures across US and international subsidiaries.
  • Identify inefficient or manual processes within the accounting function and propose and help implement improvements.
  • Undertake defined projects assigned by accounting leadership, including scoping and completion.
  • Partner with Business Applications on NetSuite improvements and act as an accounting contact for cross-functional teams.
  • Serve as a NetSuite subject matter resource for the accounting team, including testing new functionality, documenting system processes, and training staff.
