Requirements

  • At least 10 years’ experience in air, ocean and ground international and domestic freight forwarding, customs brokerage and related operations
  • Must have a working knowledge and experience in air, LCL/FCL ocean and LTL/FTL ground freight forwarding, basic customs brokerage and related topics
  • High familiarity and experience with typical sales and marketings processes including prospecting, lead generation, revenue pipelines, forecasting, etc
  • Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Slack, Outlook, etc
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Process-oriented with a mindset for continuous improvement
  • Excellent customer service & client relationship management skills

Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for select client accounts
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating client contact information, SOP, requirements, and vendor preferences
  • Responsible for participating in client specific sales efforts
  • Responsible for management and oversight of client specific project and shipment coordination
  • Create and implement project plan that outlines timelines, resources required, budgets, and information management
  • Main point of contact with client
  • Delegate and provide oversight of Shipments/Tasks within project
  • Team Complete Logistics Coordination
  • Participation in staff development as necessary
