About The Position

The Sr. Account Manager manages relationships with customers to drive business growth with our most valuable and profitable customers. This role will monitor sales, drive compliance, and perform regular business reviews.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel as needed throughout respected territory.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to sell value, manage sales processes and think critically into covered accounts.
  • Five years in sales within consumer-packaged goods industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to act autonomously.
  • Self-starter, goal oriented, excellent planning skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with customers to develop and introduce a sales plan that will generate the desired growths in volume and profitability.
  • Performs regular business reviews with customers within territory.
  • Sell-in their day-to-day volumes and implement promotional strategies for the introduction of new brands and packages.
  • Ensures customers are following the agreement set with the company.
  • Interacts with distribution team and communicates with customers on distribution updates.
  • Reviews DOS/Inventory report daily and share inventory status with customers.
  • Works with planning team to guarantee supply chain metrics (IE: OTIF) are satisfactory.
