About The Position

The Senior Account Executive (SAE) follows the Equity Trust Company (ETC) Sales process and provides excellent new client experiences to all prospective clients. This role involves making outbound calls to leads, handling inbound inquiries, and guiding prospective clients through the account opening process. The SAE will communicate information about products, services, account types, and IRS regulations, while also educating clients on self-directed IRAs and their benefits for various investment strategies. The position requires meeting sales objectives, developing new business opportunities, achieving monthly goals, and obtaining referrals. Additionally, the SAE will handle escalated client issues professionally and cross-sell applicable accounts and products. The role also includes interfacing with the onboarding team for efficient account opening and funding, creating and documenting leads in Salesforce, and potentially traveling to events.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two (2) years of sales experience in a client-centric environment
  • Proficient with self-directed IRA concepts
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient with CRMs (Salesforce preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Makes outbound calls to leads with current and past interest
  • Fields inbound inquiries from prospective clients and leads them through the account open process while ensuring correct expectations are set when they become new clients
  • Communicates information related to our products, services, account types, and IRS regulations to clients
  • Educates prospective clients on potential benefits and how self-directed IRAs work for various investment strategies
  • Meets sales objectives and business results as established by Sales leadership
  • Develops new business opportunities and achieves monthly business goals
  • Obtains and follows up with referrals
  • Handles escalated calls and client issues with professionalism
  • Cross-sells applicable accounts (Roth, HSA, etc.) and products (GLS, Education, etc.)
  • Follows assigned work schedule with regular and predictable attendance
  • Interfaces with the onboarding team to ensure accounts are open and funded efficiently
  • Creates leads using Salesforce and documents all interactions
  • Updates profile section of lead record as applicable
  • Travels to events as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned
