Founding Senior Account Executive

Pragmatico
$200,000 - $300,000

About The Position

Pragmatico is seeking a Founding Senior Account Executive to establish and lead the new client revenue stream, making it independent of the founder. This role involves selling AI Transformation Management solutions to C-suite buying committees in mid-market companies. The solution includes services and software designed to ensure workforce adoption of AI and tie its impact to the company's Profit & Loss statement, measured for the board. The ideal candidate will close net-new client bookings against a quota, build a repeatable sales playbook, and generate their own pipeline. This is an early founding team hire with significant leverage and the opportunity to build and lead a future sales team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience selling to a CEO-led buying committee and winning deals.
  • Ability to multi-thread CIO and CHRO, work with a COO, and build a business case for a CFO.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline through outbound efforts.
  • Experience selling transformation outcomes delivered through people-plus-process change (services and software).
  • Ability to build and codify sales processes from first principles.
  • High agency and ownership, comfortable operating without a finished playbook and iterating weekly.
  • Practitioner of AI, using it to enhance work and learning constantly.
  • Comfortable carrying an intangible outcome and making it concrete for executive buyers.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep vertical expertise across multiple industries.
  • Experience as a marketing operator.
  • Deep technical knowledge in AI or ML.
  • Experience with big-company forecasting rigor and process polish.

Responsibilities

  • Close net-new client bookings against quota, with a target of $1M in the first 12 months.
  • Sell into a CEO-led buying committee, with the CEO as the primary buyer, often involving CIO, CHRO, and COO.
  • Build a CFO-grade business case demonstrating P&L and ROI.
  • Co-sell with the founder-CEO on difficult deals initially, then independently close deals.
  • Build the sales playbook from first principles, including ICP, discovery, committee multi-threading, pricing, packaging, objection handling, and close plans.
  • Generate own pipeline, sourcing half of qualified pipeline by month 3 in partnership with marketing.
  • Provide feedback to the company on packaging, pricing, and playbook based on learnings from live deals.
  • Codify what works and create a repeatable process for other sales representatives.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation ($200-300k OTE) with uncapped variable compensation.
  • Meaningful equity as a founding hire.
  • Generous rewards for high performers.
