About The Position

StackAdapt is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage and expand its Northern California territory. This role is designed for a salesperson who excels at both acquiring new business and nurturing strategic accounts. The position involves partnering with an Account Manager to focus on revenue generation while ensuring client success. The Senior Account Executive will sell an AI-powered omnichannel DSP to mid-market agencies and brands in a high-growth market. StackAdapt operates as a remote-first company, but this sales role is regionalized, with a preference for candidates located in Northern California.

Requirements

  • Experience owning and selling into a Northern California territory
  • Proven success closing net new business in a quota-carrying role
  • Background in digital advertising (programmatic strongly preferred)
  • Experience building and delivering client-facing pitches
  • Ability to navigate both new business and account growth conversations
  • Comfortable explaining technical/platform concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel within your region for client meetings

Responsibilities

  • Drive net new business with agencies and brands across Northern California
  • Own the full sales cycle - from prospecting through close and expansion
  • Build and grow a pipeline using CRM tools and outbound strategies
  • Partner with Account Managers to retain and expand existing accounts
  • Translate client goals into strategic campaign recommendations
  • Collaborate with product and internal teams to shape solutions based on market needs
