Requirements

Experience: 6 to 8 years in B2B SaaS or API and infrastructure sales, with at least 3 years carrying a full-cycle quota on complex, multi-stakeholder deals. You have closed deals where legal, security and compliance all had a veto.
Market: Background in identity, KYC and AML, payments, fintech infrastructure, or reg tech. You understand why verifying a person in Brazil is a different problem from verifying one in Denmark.
Technical Credibility: Comfortable with API-first products. You can read documentation, run a discovery call with engineers in the room, and scope an integration without needing a solutions engineer on every call.
Territory & Language: Based in the Americas, with real coverage experience across the US and Latin America. Fluent in English is required; Spanish and/or Portuguese are a significant advantage for the LatAm side of the territory, but not required.
Commercial Range: Equally at home selling direct to an enterprise and selling through a reseller or platform partner, including deals where your customer’s customer is the one who actually needs the verification.
How You Work: Outcome-driven and self-directed. You set your own targets based on quota, hold yourself to them, and operate well across time zones in an async, global team.

Experience with LatAm identity rails (INE, CPF, CNH, RENAPER), regulated- industry selling, or the eIDAS 2.0 and EUDI Wallet landscape.

Responsibilities

Own the full cycle. First conversation to signed contract: qualification, technical discovery, commercial structuring, negotiation, and close. No handoffs to hide behind.
Sell across all three of our buyer types. IDV’s, eSignature providers, and medium to large regulated industry players. You will learn to move between a platform integration conversation and a bank compliance conversation in the same week.
Sell the recurring motion, not just the one-time check. Our strongest accounts use eID verification for ongoing login and session assurance, not a single onboarding event. Building that story into every deal is a core part of the job.
Work direct and through resellers. A meaningful share of Americas revenue arrives through resellers whose own customers are the real relying party. You will also sell directly to large platform companies that need ID verification in many countries. (banks, casinos, crypto, ride share, etc.)
Partner with BDR and Marketing on pipeline. You will inherit a researched target list and a BDR to work with, and you are expected to self-source alongside it.
Run a credible technical sale. Work directly with Engineering and Product on integration scoping, sandbox evaluations, and production testing, so deals close on substance rather than enthusiasm.
Keep the forecast honest. Clean HubSpot hygiene, real stage discipline, and a number you stand behind. We would rather hear bad news early than good news that does not land.
Be the voice of the Americas internally. Which countries, rails and use cases you keep hearing about should shape what Hopae builds and where it goes next.
