The Senior Academic Advisor reports to the Assistant Director of Academic Advising and is responsible for providing expert guidance to students on academic requirements, course selection, and educational goal achievement. This role includes strategic planning, mentorship, and personalized advising to foster student success. The Senior Academic Advisor also mentors junior advisors, contributes to advising strategies, and utilizes data to improve student retention, thereby supporting the institution's mission to enhance student achievement. Adherence to all state, system, and university policies, regulations, and confidentiality (FERPA) is required.
