About The Position

Boeing Global Services is seeking a Training Segment Systems Engineer (Product Manager) for the A-MH Program, located in Hazelwood, Missouri. The selected candidate will join the Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE) as we design, develop, manufacture, and deliver pilot and maintenance training products (hardware, software & courseware). Product Managers manage the entire product life cycle across all engineering teams, providing project management, technical leadership, and a strong drive to successfully deliver.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
5 + years’ experience in engineering project planning or project management
3 + years’ experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
Experience developing and tracking program plans/schedules and budgets for technical projects
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Nice To Haves

7 + years’ experience in engineering project management
5 + years’ experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
Experience with Cost account management and/or earned value management
Experience with Risk Management
Experience with Microsoft Project, Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence
Experience with Training Systems and/or Boeing military aircraft platforms
Experience working within an Agile team

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for all engineering aspects of the product
Collaborate with technical leadership including chief engineers, system architects, and fellow product managers
Coordinate with program management and engineering teams to develop and maintain execution plans
Manage product release schedules and release activities
Track execution progress, identify blockers, and guide adjustments as necessary
Work with supplier management to monitor and track supplier performance
Identify risks, issues, and opportunities, developing mitigation or execution plans
Play an integral role in developing Statements of Work (SOW) and estimates to fulfill customer requirements
Ensure the product is accurate and complete before delivery to customers
