Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Semiconductor Test Engineer to develop, maintain, and optimize wafer-level test solutions for advanced GaN RF semiconductor devices. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with RF characterization and production test methodologies, including S-parameter, power, intermodulation distortion (IMD), noise figure, and DC measurements. This role requires strong technical expertise in automated test systems, data analysis, and software development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of RF semiconductor test engineering experience.
  • Experience testing GaN RF devices at wafer level.
  • Strong understanding of RF measurement principles and calibration techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with S-parameters, power testing, IMD, noise figure, and DC parametric testing.
  • Strong software development and test automation background.
  • Proficiency in C# and Python for instrument control, automation, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of software architecture, source control, and structured development practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with high-frequency RF and microwave applications.
  • Experience with automated wafer probe systems.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, DOE, and yield improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize automated wafer-level test solutions for GaN RF devices.
  • Perform S-parameter, power, IMD, noise figure, and DC measurements.
  • Develop automated test software and instrumentation control solutions.
  • Integrate VNAs, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, SMUs, power meters, and probe stations.
  • Analyze characterization and production data to improve yield and performance.
  • Collaborate with design, process, and product engineering teams.
  • Improve test throughput, repeatability, and measurement accuracy.
