About The Position

Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is seeking a Senior Semiconductor Sustaining Engineer to join a small team of Process Engineers. This role focuses on continuous technical progress and improvements, leveraging cross-functional representatives from the entire Operations team. The position requires a keen understanding of semiconductor processing, metrology, and equipment functionality to maintain tool on-state and drive improved uptime metrics throughout the factory.

Requirements

Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
Equipment installation & maintenance experience.
Manufacturing Engineering experience.
Process Engineering experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with tool vendors, Field service engineers, & factory management.
Experience leading tool selection, installation and startup in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Experience with high mix precision electromechanical/semiconductor products in a highly regulated Operations environment.
Experience with wet and dry process disciplines including vacuum based systems in high mix semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain tool on-state to drive improved uptime metrics throughout the factory by applying fundamental understanding of equipment functionality.
Collaborate with all levels of stakeholders (chief engineers, product engineers, process engineers, technicians, etc.) to drive continuous improvement solutions.
Identify potential yield-limiting and bottle neck sources and participate in defining structured problem-solving activities with a focus on implementation.
Contribute to RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) and throughput improvement teams to carry out strategic initiatives to improve future factory performance.
