About The Position

The Semiconductor Production Technician (Level I or II) operates production and metrology equipment and provides technical support to engineers to ensure production goals of the organization are met, and provides technical assistance related to the sustaining and review of existing processes and equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in general manufacturing or semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.
  • This position will require lawful access to ITAR/EAR controlled information, and employees in these roles will need to meet those requirements. Requirements include US Citizenship, US Permanent Resident, or the ability to meet contract-specific licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains safety and cleanroom protocols for the area of certifications.
  • Effective in processing WIP (Work in Process) and managing priorities throughout the area.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks as needed to support the business.
  • Completes standard operating procedures and protocols related to process flows and quality.
  • Assist engineers in running experiments and products.
  • Learns to utilize all electronic record systems for managing WIP (MES – TME and Google Docs).
  • Maintain current on all safety and training assignments.
  • Developing expertise and certifications in a second area (Level II).
  • Takes initiative with the production schedule and tasks to keep WIP moving.
  • Monitor equipment, personnel, and area progress, and problem-solve throughout the production process.
  • Perform additional functions and other duties as assigned or required.
