The Semiconductor Process Technician is experienced in semiconductor fabrication and experience in a Focal Plane Array manufacturing environment is a plus. The ideal candidate can perform photolithography, etching, thin films and metals deposition processes. Experience handling small, sensitive optoelectronic components is a plus. The ideal candidate can follow process instructions with minimal supervision and is generally proficient using computers.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Physics, Material Science, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor processing environment
  • Experience handling delicate optoelectronic components preferred
  • Requires U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status
  • Proficient using computers

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a Focal Plane Array manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with sensor, electronics, or electromechanical product assembly
  • Willingness to work additional hours if required
  • Experience working in an ITAR environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform semiconductor wafer processing tasks in photolithography, etching, thin films and metals deposition with precision and repeatability.
  • Handle semiconductor wafers and small opto-electronic components.
  • Record process data and equipment logs to identify trends, diagnose process issues, and support implementation of corrective actions to improve yield, quality, and throughput.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine processing techniques, tool recipes, and maintenance schedules for new and existing products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
