Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. To meet a rapidly growing production demand and foundry modernization, MEC foundry is seeking an entry-level, self-motivated, creative and energetic engineer, to assist in supporting daily production tasks and new tool/process qualifications in lithography area. The candidate will have the opportunities to follow and learn from senior process engineers, to gain knowledge and experience in semiconductor industry.
Requirements
- A 4-yr college degree in STEM fields
- Good learning and analytical capability
- Creative and curious
- Able to work extended hours in a cleanroom environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- A 4-yr college degree in electrical/electronic, material science, chemical engineering
- 1-2 yr hands-on experience in a cleanroom environment
- Basic understanding of semiconductor physics and process
- Skilled in statistic software and analysis
- Able to lift and move 20lb object during work hour if needed
Responsibilities
- Assist in supporting daily production tasks
- Assist in new tool/process qualifications in lithography area
- Follow and learn from senior process engineers to gain knowledge and experience in semiconductor industry
