About The Position

This position is for a Semiconductor Process Engineer supporting Lockheed Martin's Santa Barbara operations. The role involves contributing to the development, optimization, integration, and sustainment of advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes used in critical defense applications. Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or another related STEM discipline.
Professional experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, process development, process improvement, research and development, or technical operations activities.
Experience analyzing technical problems and developing effective solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Developing, improving, and sustaining semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Supporting photolithography, etching, deposition, metrology, hybridization, packaging, and advanced interconnect technologies.
Performing process characterization, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and yield improvement activities.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process optimization.
Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to achieve program objectives.
Supporting process qualification, documentation, and technology transition activities.
Developing technical reports, procedures, presentations, and engineering documentation.
Participating in product development efforts from concept through production and sustainment.
