  • Hands-on experience developing, optimising, or troubleshooting ALD processes
  • Deep knowledge of thin-film deposition for semiconductor or advanced-packaging applications
  • Strong understanding of precursor chemistry and surface reaction mechanisms
  • Experience interpreting thin-film and materials characterisation results
  • Familiarity with XRD, SEM, TEM, XPS, ellipsometry, or comparable characterisation techniques
  • Practical understanding of semiconductor processing and materials integration
  • Strong scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Clear written English and the ability to explain complex technical decisions precisely
  • Availability for at least 10 hours per week
  • Current residence in the United States
  • An MS or PhD in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, physics, or a closely related discipline is highly relevant
  • Equivalent advanced hands-on professional experience in ALD, semiconductor processing, or thin-film engineering may also be considered
  • Research or industry experience involving deposition processes and semiconductor materials is particularly valuable
