An exciting opportunity exists for a college graduate to join our semiconductor foundry team at the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon in Andover, MA. AMSD develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications. The role involves working in a cleanroom environment and handling GaAs and GaN wafers, assisting with various lithography, deposition, and etch processes. The engineer will also perform and document optical microscope inspections, scanning electron microscope imaging, and conduct failure analysis and data analysis. This position offers the chance to learn wafer fabrication techniques, imaging techniques, and data analysis and troubleshooting methods.
