Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. Collaborate with diverse teams to develop and implement technology transfer plans, ensuring seamless integration of new facilities technology. Partner with TD Equipment and Facilities Tool Install Engineers to develop comprehensive Tool Service Requirements and utility database for first-of-a-kind (FOAK) workstation transfers, utilizing advanced data modeling to create detailed tool utility matrices for each technology node. Conduct in-depth Utility Trade Ratio (UTR) analyses and system load/capacity assessments using engineering databases and simulation tools to evaluate and mitigate facility system impacts of new technology introductions. Author and validate Facilities Release Documentation (FRD/TI FRD) for FOAK material and workstation installations, ensuring the effective transfer of best-known methods (BKMs) to high-volume manufacturing and compliance with industry standards. Provide program metrics to management (including but not limited to FRD/alignment, utility load/capacity, Cost of Transition and Performance to Plan). Independently identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical challenges during technology transfer, leveraging advanced engineering methodologies and cross-functional collaboration to ensure project success. Drive quality improvement initiatives to reduce Fab impacts, improve efficiency, and identify cost savings Collaborate with key stakeholders to evaluate the impact of process changes, define future facilities requirements, and institutionalize continuous improvement through the application of lessons learned and best-known methods (BKMs). Provide engineering support to ensure safety is considered in all aspects of the technology transfer business process and in compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Finish the required safety training and conduct all work in accordance with Micron EHS policies, safety and quality standards. Ensure effective communication with facilities and manufacturing stakeholders, attending meetings and providing technical input. Support the planning, design, and commissioning of Greenfield semiconductor fabrication facilities, focusing on achieving optimal operational performance, safety, and adaptability for future technology advancements. Collaborate with Technology Development Fabs and R&D teams to drive the swift implementation and enhancement of cutting-edge manufacturing processes and equipment, ensuring a seamless transition of new technologies into high-volume production environments.
