About The Position

Raytheon is hiring a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer assigned to 2nd shift with the hours of 1:30 PM - 11 PM Mon-Thursday and every other Friday off on a 9/80 schedule. The candidate will be a shift support engineer and be responsible for the uptime and maintenance of Metal evaporation/Sputter systems and lift off equipment. The role requires hands-on work in a cleanroom environment. The candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of semiconductor processing equipment within the clean room environment, including high levels of experience with electrical, electro-mechanical, and gas systems typically found in a semiconductor operation. Future expansion to support a wider range of equipment is expected.

Requirements

Typically require a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing manufacturing equipment.

Nice To Haves

Familiar with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards
Read and understand equipment manuals and schematics.
Have a fundamental knowledge of SPC controls with the ability to implement SPC control plans on existing equipment and new equipment installations.
Able to document work and provide detailed pass down.
Ability to pull and analyze tool date.
Experience with predictive maintenance and SPC controls using FDC software.
Knowledge of thin‑film metrology (ellipsometry, XRR, TEM, XPS, FTIR).
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and support a dynamic production setting.
Proficient use of MS Office products.

Responsibilities

Diagnosing equipment issues using experience, system knowledge, and technical manuals.
Triage and repair equipment based on priority and operational needs.
Support the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as needed.
