About The Position
We are looking for a Diesel Technician / Truck Tech to join our team at Mast Trucking/Central Service in Millersburg, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing and repairing diesel equipment, ensuring that vehicles are safely returned to operation. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Requirements
- Previous experience working on semi-trucks and trailers or similar over-the-road equipment
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable using computers and diagnostic software to troubleshoot equipment
- Able to work independently and figure things out without needing constant direction
- Reliable and shows up when scheduled
- Takes pride in doing repairs correctly
- Be able to pass background check and drug screen
- Valid DL
Nice To Haves
- CDL is helpful, but not required
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and use diagnostic software to identify and resolve issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services
- Repair brakes, suspension, air systems, cooling systems, and other truck components
- Complete DOT-related inspections and repairs
- Identify problems before they turn into bigger repairs
- Keep accurate records of work completed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work with the rest of the shop to keep equipment safe and on the road
Benefits
- Pay: $20–$35/hour, based on experience and ability
