Requirements

  • One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Able to perform essential job functions.
  • Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Handle small repairs such as carpentry, painting, electrical fixes, and plumbing tasks
  • Maintain outdoor areas by mowing, pruning, clearing debris, and removing snow
  • Operate hand and power tools and assist skilled trades workers during larger projects
  • Load and unload supplies, move furniture or equipment, and transport materials as needed
  • Clean buildings and outdoor spaces to help maintain a safe and orderly environment
  • Check and service vehicles and equipment to keep them in proper working order
