About The Position

As a member of the Land O’Lakes, Inc. transportation team and WinField United business, the Semi Local CDL Truck Driver safely transports agricultural materials, including fertilizer and anhydrous ammonia, to customer locations and cooperative sites. Routes operate primarily in Iowa and Nebraska, with the driver home most days, and may include overnight trips to Kansas, Texas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. The role requires compliance with driving, safety, FMCSA, and DOT requirements, and may involve day or overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime. The schedule is approximately 60 hours per week. Employment offers are contingent upon successful drug screening and background review. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver’s license with a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
HAZ-MAT licensure, or ability to attain it.
Required Tanker Endorsement.
At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
Willingness to learn new skills, solve problems, and troubleshoot.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a respectful approach.
Ability to lift 60 pounds.
Ability to perform frequent active movements, including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
Ability to work across temperature zones, including extended periods in cold and/or hot environments, and in environments where dust and chemicals may be present.
Availability for day and overnight shifts, weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime.
