About The Position

As a member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s transportation team and WinField United business, the Semi Local CDL Truck Driver safely transports agricultural materials, including fertilizer and anhydrous ammonia, to customer locations and cooperative sites. Routes primarily run through Iowa and Nebraska, with the driver home most days, and may include overnight trips to Kansas, Texas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. The role requires compliance with driving, safety, FMCSA, DOT, and standard operating procedures. The schedule includes day and overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed, with approximately 60 hours per week. Physical duties include lifting up to 60 pounds and frequent active movement, sometimes while wearing personal protective equipment and working in hot or cold environments where dust or chemicals may be present. Job offers are contingent upon a successful drug screen and background review. The company considers reasonable accommodation requests through an interactive process.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver’s license, including a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
HAZ-MAT licensure or ability to attain it.
Tanker endorsement required.
At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions.
Willingness to learn new skills, solve problems, and troubleshoot.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a respectful approach.
