About The Position

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Semi Driver where safety and people are core values. We are hiring immediately for this local driving position. The typical schedule is Monday – Friday from 6 AM to 4 PM, with overtime based on business needs. We offer competitive pay starting at $27.35 - $36.90/HR, dependent on experience, and paid weekly. Requirements

• Must have an unrestricted class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience driving commercially is required.
• Be able to communicate with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally.
• Know your metro! Familiarize yourself with your surroundings, or at least be able to tell Google to get you from point A to B.

Nice To Haves

• Having some experience with construction equipment helps but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Will drive a rollback 90% of the time.
• Will drive a semi when needed.
• Driver will be responsible for loading and unloading equipment.
• Be able to communicate with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally.
• Know your metro! Familiarize yourself with your surroundings, or at least be able to tell Google to get you from point A to B.
