About The Position

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Semi Driver where safety and people are core values. This role is focused on customer satisfaction, involving the loading, securing, delivery, and pick-up of large construction equipment at customer sites. The driver will also instruct customers on equipment usage, complete paperwork, and adhere to all DOT/FMCSA/Sunstate regulations. Requirements

• Unrestricted class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a semi, flatbed, or heavy haul preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers and customers.
• Familiarity with the local metro area.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Loading, securing, delivering, and picking up various types of large construction equipment at customer sites.
• Instructing customers on safe and proper use of all equipment.
• Completing required paperwork.
• Following all DOT/FMCSA/Sunstate regulations and protocols.
• Communicating with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally.
• Familiarizing with the local metro area.
