About The Position
Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring a Semi Driver immediately. This local driving position offers a typical schedule of Monday – Friday 6AM - 4PM, with overtime based on business needs. The pay starts at $24.75 - $33.45/HR, dependent on experience, and is paid weekly. The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading equipment and will drive a rollback 90% of the time, with semi-truck driving as needed. Sunstate is a proud Second Chance employer.
Requirements
- Unrestricted class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience driving commercially.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally.
- Familiarity with the metro area or ability to navigate using GPS.
Nice To Haves
- Some experience with construction equipment.
