About The Position

Serves as instructor of undergraduate and/or graduate courses for the Department of Integrated Systems Engineering. Provides students with instruction, practice and feedback in technical communications in stand-alone course and in conjunction with other faculty in Capstone Design; teaches other courses in alignment with department needs and instructor strengths; plans and organizes instruction in ways which maximize student learning; meets scheduled classes in accordance with college policy; employs appropriate teaching and learning strategies; modifies, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diversity of student needs; employs available instructional technology when appropriate; ensures curriculum implementation and course preparation in accordance with department standards; prepares homework and exams; evaluates and returns student work in a timely manner to promote learning; maintains accurate records of students’ progress; submits final grade rosters according to established university deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • 100% - Duties will include contact hours with students in class/lab, with the remaining hours split among office hours, team meetings, grading, and your own preparation.
