About The Position

The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University seeks applications to fill an associated faculty position at the rank of Lecturer (SEM). This role involves teaching lectures and recitations in graduate/undergraduate classes, leading lab or discussion groups, proctoring exams, attending lectures, holding office hours, tutoring students, attending weekly meetings, preparing and grading classroom work, and participating in ongoing professional development. There may also be opportunities to participate in curriculum development and conduct research.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field is required at the time of application.
  • Teaching experience in a higher education setting in large enrollment calculus courses is also required.
