About The Position

Join Tuff Shed as a Selling Center Design Specialist (SCDS) at a single Home Depot location. This role involves selling Tuff Shed buildings to Home Depot customers, acting as the liaison between Tuff Shed, Home Depot, and its customers. You will build relationships with Home Depot store leaders and associates to generate leads and sales. The position requires working on-site, including weekends, holidays, and some evenings, managing the sales pipeline, driving sales growth, and providing design consultation services. You will also be responsible for maintaining display sheds and training Home Depot associates on Tuff Shed products.

Requirements

  • Ability to work weekends is a must.
  • Self-direction and the ability to work independently and build relationships.
  • Customer service experience is a big plus.
  • A competitive drive.
  • Ability to listen to customers and answer their needs.
  • Proven computer skills and the aptitude to learn new software such as customer relationship management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between Home Depot, its customers, and Tuff Shed.
  • Work on-site at a single Home Depot store and sell Tuff Shed buildings.
  • Build relationships with Home Depot store leaders and associates to generate leads and sales.
  • Manage sales pipeline, generating, tracking, and reporting new customer leads.
  • Drive sales growth and provide exceptional design consultation services.
  • Leverage Home Depot employees and customer traffic to generate leads and sales.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend weekend events at the assigned Home Depot store.
  • Utilize the Customer Relationship Management tool to update customer interactions and next steps.
  • Build strong relationships with The Home Depot store leaders and train their associates on Tuff Shed products.
  • Maintain display sheds for presentation and cleanliness.
