About The Position

Public Storage is the self-storage industry leader and is hiring now for a Self Storage Manager in the Dallas, 75234 and surrounding areas. This role involves working independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside. Responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs and making suggestions, selling packing and moving supplies, conducting daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payments through reminder and collection calls when required. The role also involves performing cleaning and daily maintenance tasks such as sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds to ensure they are clean and free of debris.

Requirements

Experience in customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies
Valid driver’s license
Must utilize own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business
Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds
Ability to walk in/around facilities spending up to 50% of their time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors

Responsibilities
