About The Position

Public Storage is the self-storage industry leader and is hiring now for a Self Storage Manager. This role involves working independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside. Responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs, selling packing and moving supplies, conducting daily storage unit inspections, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payments through reminder and collection calls.

Requirements

Ability to transport lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
Ability to walk in/around facilities spending up to 50% of their time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
Experience from a variety of customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies.
A valid driver’s license.
Utilize own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business.

Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability.
Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits.
Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.
Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris.
