Public Storage is the self-storage industry leader. Property Managers work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside. They assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies. Daily storage unit inspections are performed to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent. Responsibilities also include auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, helping customers stay current with payments, and making reminder and collection calls when required. Property Managers are also responsible for performing cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, such as sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris.
