The Segment Cost Control Manager will be responsible for monitoring project costs, supporting financial forecasting, and ensuring accurate reporting of cost performance across one of the SR400 segments. This role plays a key part in integrating cost control systems, analyzing financial data, and supporting project teams in maintaining budgetary discipline throughout the project lifecycle. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: Assist in the development of project forecast on a regular basis using company-supported cost control systems. The Cost Control Manager should be able to present areas of concerns and assist segment leadership throughout the process. Provide backup analysis and cost data that could help the construction team to better forecasting the remaining work to be completed. Prepare templates to facilitate the analysis and organize in a proper way all the supporting documentation. Perform cost analysis in conjunction with the construction team to explain the deviations with the Forecast on a monthly basis and prepare the summary reports for upper management. Produce/supervise labor and equipment productivity reports. Track subcontractors’ cost keeping organized logs with change orders, claims, backcharges, etc. Document, track, and report project segment costs in accordance with company processes and procedures, and track performance against key performance indicators (KPIs). Report cost data and deviations in a clear, concise and organized manner. Keep very organized work practices managing the data basis to ensure smooth processes in all the cost analysis performed by the department. Collaborate with project management and project controls teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Support the integration of cost control systems with other project management tools. Validate final revenue figures during project closeout and support final billing processes. Audit cost data between company and client systems to ensure consistency and accuracy. Support internal and external financial audits on assigned project segments. Support the Change Management team. Maintain awareness of company values, strategic goals, and cost control best practices. Perform additional assignments as directed by management.
