You will be responsible for supporting technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4 + years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Expertise in application of policies and procedures for day-to-day accounting and financial transactions

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation of balance sheet review process on a quarterly basis for the sub-segments, supporting and reviewing commentaries, enabling open items to resolution, deep-dive review of certain high-risk areas
  • Support the accounting, recurring review and documentation for potential Field Modifications (or recalls) impacting the sub-segments
  • Integrate processes from business development, including mapping, load, tie out, reconciliations, CoE coordination, system integration, automations
  • Manual Journal Entries (MJE) analysis and opportunities
  • Preparation of account reconciliations
  • Support the impairment evaluation process for various asset categories on the sub-segment balance sheet, including, capitalized software, investments, intangible assets and P&E
  • Manage various expense accrual accounts (for example, research accruals) impacting the sub-segments directly for appropriate quarterly close assessment
  • Support SOx testing controls and internal audit assessments
  • Other financial and sub-segment related activities, as applicable
