Syngenta's Syngenta’s Commercial Team is seeking a Seeds Communications Intern in Lisle, IL. As part of Syngenta's Emerging Talent Program, you will gain hands-on experience, exposure to day-to-day business operations, and opportunities to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges while developing your professional skills.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and the student must be pursuing an advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • Requires developed specialized skills, or a breadth of skills, through job-related training, on-the-job experience, and coursework.
  • All applicants must be eligible to work in the US, and likely Downers Grove, Illinois.

Nice To Haves

  • A demonstrated passion for agriculture and food production is a definite asset.
  • Knowledge of marketing processes, data insights and analytics, agronomics, general cropping practices, agricultural technology and trends, and requirements for pest control.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comprising strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead, be self-directed, and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Build communications initiatives and tactical content for the Global and North America Seeds business.
  • Learn communications fundamentals and best practices.
  • Learn technology to support communications execution.
  • Training is provided in-house, and guidance is provided by management.
  • Develop skills and experience to further your career.
  • Assist in the execution of communications initiatives as assigned.
  • Support the digital marketing effort for North America Communications, such as e-newsletters, social media, and event support.
  • Assist with asset management, content audits, and content creation.
  • Learn digital technologies to support the execution and measurement of communications plans.
  • Develop and execute a social content calendar for Seeds leaders.
  • Support summer events as needed.
  • Develop basic knowledge of the Seeds business.
