About The Position
As a Security Patrol Driver Retail Parking Lot Access Control in Santa Ana, California, you will serve and safeguard clients in retail locations. You will monitor and patrol the location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. The role includes routine vehicle and foot patrols, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service and communication. The position is full-time with a mix of shifts, scheduled Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Friday from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles, or 21 or older for armed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations.
- Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor for unauthorized access, theft-related activity, property damage, and hazards, and report observations according to site procedures.
- Assist with access control, traffic flow, and incident documentation while maintaining a visible deterrent presence.
