About The Position

As the Security Training Manager, you are a key driver of operational readiness and professional excellence within the Security Department. You are responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training that equips security officers with the skills and judgment needed to protect our guests, team members, and property. From use of force and arrest procedures to report writing and incident response, you ensure every officer is confident, capable, and compliant with all policies and legal standards. Your leadership directly shapes the effectiveness, consistency, and professionalism of the entire security team-making you an essential part of maintaining a safe, secure, and service-oriented environment across the company.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of security, law enforcement, or related experience; includes leadership or progressive responsibility in instructor or training roles
  • Proven track record of effective decision-making under pressure and in dynamic environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence, coach, and resolve conflict across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to adapt leadership style to support changing business needs and team dynamics

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams
  • This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard, schedule, coach, evaluate, and manage department staff to support high performance, engagement, and alignment with company standards and service excellence
  • Drive the execution of strategic initiatives by translating organizational goals into actionable plans, ensuring team alignment, accountability, and timely delivery under the guidance of division leadership
  • Establish and uphold service standards within assigned department(s), ensuring consistent delivery that meets or exceeds guest expectations and operational goals
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans and training curriculum covering key competencies including use of force, arrest and detention procedures, report writing, and department protocols
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date training files for all security personnel and conduct regular evaluations to assess skill retention, policy compliance, and performance
  • Serve as coordinator for the department's Field Training Program, ensuring new officers are properly mentored, assessed, and transitioned into active duty
  • Communicate regularly with security management to identify individual and departmental training needs and implement responsive development strategies
  • Review and revise training curriculum quarterly, in partnership with the Director of Security, to reflect evolving policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee payroll and related administrative duties to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
