About The Position

This role focuses on the integration of security tools within a specialized environment. The specialist will be responsible for ensuring seamless operation and effective utilization of various security and data tools. A strong background in systems engineering, scripting, and familiarity with cloud environments is essential.

Requirements

• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAM Level I (SEC+)
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell
• Familiarity with security and data tools such as Tenable (Nessus Manager & Security Center)
• Familiarity with security and data tools such as Splunk Enterprise
• Familiarity with security and data tools such as Apache NiFi
• Familiarity with security and data tools such as SNORT / Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS)
• Experience with cloud environments, particularly AWS (S3, EC2)
